Sint Nikolas Day at Riversdale Mansion - Saturday, December 1, 2:30-4:30 p.m.  Children will receive a gift bag from Sint Nikolas, the forerunner of our modern Santa Claus. They can also visit the special kids-only shopping area to buy gifts that fit their budget. $6/child, $2/adult. Riversdale is located at 4811 Riverdale Road, Riverdale Park, MD. Riverdale Park Holiday Market - Dec 8-9
 
Riverdale Park Second Annual Holiday Market, Saturday, December 8th, 1:00-9:00 pm; Sunday, December 9th, 12:00-5:00 pm. Located in Riverdale Park's historic town center, the holiday market offers unique gifts, Christmas trees and wreaths, live music, free photos with Santa, fresh pressed apple cider, kids' games, temporary tattoos, and face painting. Come support the many small local businesses and craftspeople. There are different vendors each day.  Riverdale Park Town Center is located at 4650 Queensbury Road, Riverdale Park, MD 20737. Riverdale Park Festival of Lights - Dec 8
 
On Saturday evening, December 8th, from 5:30-8:30 pm, Riverdale Park's jolly elves and reindeer will provide free trolley tours of the neighborhood's holiday decorations, along with a candlelight tour of Riversdale House Museum. Bring a canned good or non-perishable food item as a donation and be prepared to sing! Trolleys will depart from the Riverdale Park MARC station parking lot and stop at Riversdale House Museum. Town of Riverdale Park Senior Citizens' Holiday Party - Dec 12
 
The Town of Riverdale Park will host a Senior Citizens' Holiday Party at Crescent Cities Center on December 12th at 12:30 pm.  The event will be catered by S & J's Restaurant. Town of Riverdale Park Children's Holiday Party - Dec 15
 
The Town of Riverdale Park will host a Children's Holiday Party at Riverdale Park Town Hall on December 15th from 3:30 pm-5:30 pm. The event includes refreshments, free pictures with Santa, and a Holiday Puppet Show at 4:00 pm by the Blue Sky Puppet Company. For children 12 and under accompanied by an adult.
