[RP Town Announce] Cafritz Project Construction Update: Weeks of 4/21 and 4/28

CONSTRUCTION UPDATE NOTICE 

Weeks of: April 21, 2014 and April 28, 2014 

 

What to Expect On-Site the Next Two Weeks: 

During the next two weeks of construction, the General Contractor, L.F.
Jennings, will continue installing erosion and sediment control fencing and
ponds, installing perimeter fencing, continue site clearing on the east side
of the site, continue removal and haul-off of excess soil and trees, and
continue the rough grading on the west side of the site. 

 

These activities will require heavy equipment accessing the site. Two
construction entrances are located along Route 1 located near both ends of
the project site and one entrance at Maryland Avenue. 

 

Drilling rigs will also be boring small holes in the ground to obtain
geotechnical data needed for the design of the bridge over the CSX railroad
tracks. 

 

Lane Closures: 

There are no anticipated lane closures associated with this work. 

 

Construction Hours: 

Construction activity will be taking place Monday - Saturday between the
hours of 7 a.m. and 5 p.m.
