[RP Town Announce] War of 1812 Reenactment at Riversdale: August 15 from noon to 4 PM (4811 Riverdale Road)

The War of 1812 reenactment returns to Riversdale (4811 Riverdale Rd.) this
year on Saturday, August 15, noon to 4:00 pm.

 

We want to let you know that there will be skirmishes with loud gun and
cannon fire on the lower field, near the corner of Taylor Road and
Oglethorpe Street, as well as other military activities around the grounds
all afternoon.

 

You are welcome to come and join us, too-admission to the grounds is FREE.

 

There will be even be special activities for kids.

 

(We will also have refreshments for sale, and you can tour the historic
house for a small fee).
