CONSTRUCTION UPDATE NOTICE

Weeks of: November 9, 2015 and November 16, 2015

What to Expect On-Site the Next Two Weeks:

During the next two weeks of work, the General Contractor, L.F. Jennings,
and their subcontractors will continue site construction around the Whole
Foods Market and along Route 1. Underground utility work to install storm
drains, water mains, conduits, site lighting and sanitary sewers is
proceeding in multiple areas on the site. Grading for the pervious pavement
drainage system, under the Whole Foods parking lot, has started. Washington
Gas has completed the gas main installation across Route 1 and continues to
bring gas lines to each new building. The widening of Route 1 is underway
including new concrete curb and gutter placement along the east side of the
highway. Installation of the traffic signal at Van Buren St. will follow
shortly thereafter.

Construction of the Building 2 garage footings and retaining walls is
complete. Waterproofing of these walls is ongoing. Screen walls, seat walls
and other site hardscape structures in Gateway Park (adjacent to Route 1)
will begin after Building 2 garage retaining walls are completed.

The contractor has started installation of a 48" drainage culvert pipe under
the CSX railroad tracks. Once this culvert is completed (estimated date is
11/25/15), the construction of a large storm water management pond in the NE
corner of the site can begin.

Lane Closures:

Road widening work and utility connections for traffic signalization
conduits will be performed and may require periodic lane closures in Route
1.

Future Plans:

. Two week to two month look-ahead -

o Continue all of the above work but start additional buildings to provide
new retail to the area.

o Start construction of the pond at the northeast corner of the site.

o Start utility relocation for the construction of the CSX Crossing east of
the railroad tracks.

o Start installation of a traffic signal at Van Buren St. & Route1.

o Washington Gas to begin relocation of existing gas main in Maryland Ave.
followed by installation of new storm drain outfall to Wells Run box
culvert.

. Two to six month look-ahead -

o Start additional retail buildings.

o Start interior fit-out of Whole Foods.

o Opening of Gateway Park.

Work Hours:

Work activity will be taking place Monday - Sunday between the hours of 7
a.m. and 7 p.m. However, work on the State highway will be restricted to
9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
