Prince George's County Executive Baker Hosts Two Public Meetings and
Listening Sessions
Meetings to take place on Tuesday, October 27th at Hillcrest Heights
Community Center in Temple Hills and Monday, November 9th at M-NCPPC Parks
and Recreation Administration Building in Riverdale
Upper Marlboro, MD - As the 2016 legislative session of the Maryland General
Assembly approaches, Prince George's County Executive Rushern L. Baker, III
is holding the first of two public meetings at Hillcrest Heights Community
Center on Tuesday evening, October 27th, beginning at 7:00 p.m. Prior to
the listening sessions, representatives from County Government agencies will
be present to provide information beginning at 6:00 p.m. The listening
sessions are designed to give residents an opportunity to share their ideas
on issues that impact their lives and our communities.
The information gathered during these sessions will be used to develop the
County's legislative priorities for the 436th session of the Maryland
General Assembly, which starts in January 2016. These sessions will include
brief opening remarks by the County Executive, but the primary focus will be
to listen to comments from residents. Please click here

"Each year I look forward to hearing the thoughts and concerns of our
residents," said Prince George's County Executive Rushern L. Baker, III.
"The ideas, suggestions, questions, and feedback from our citizens plays a
critical role in shaping how we approach our policy issues in the State
Legislature and our upcoming budget. I encourage all residents and business
owners to attend one of these public meetings and share your ideas,
thoughts, concerns, and priorities with me and other county leaders."
Members from the County's House and Senate Delegations, the Prince George's
County Council, Prince George's County Board of Education representatives
and other community leaders have been invited to hear the issues that
residents are concerned about. There will be limited opportunities to
