[RP Town Announce] Clearing the sidewalks

Dear Residents,

 

Reports from around Town are that residents are working diligently to clear
their sidewalks.  The Town appreciates your efforts to create safe
pedestrian routes through your neighborhood while our Public Works
department has worked around the clock to create safe vehicular paths
through the Town.  

 

Normally the Town would enforce the requirement to clear sidewalks by 24
hours past the end of a snowstorm.  However, given the amount of snowfall,
Mayor Archer has decided to delay enforcement of this law for an additional
24 hours, until Tuesday morning.  Residents should clear their sidewalks as
quickly as possible, but the requirement to clear all snow by this evening
seemed unreasonable. 

 

Thank you again for your continuing efforts to create a safe pedestrian
experience on the sidewalk in front of your house.  Your neighbors and Town
government appreciate your hard work.
