[RP Town Announce] Youth at Work/Summer Youth Enrichment Program - OPEN HOUSE FLYER

Prince George's Community College, in partnership with the Youth at Work/Summer Youth Enrichment Program (Youth at Work/SYEP), will be hosting several Open Houses; with the first scheduled for Saturday, October 21, 2017, 10:00 a.m., at the Largo campus of Prince George's Community College, Room 1418, Center for Health Studies.  The Open Houses are to inform youth about professional development/training opportunities in preparation for the upcoming 2018 Youth at Work/Summer Youth Enrichment Program.

Prince George's County youth between the ages of 15 to 19, parents, community members, faculty and staff are cordially invited to attend.  Youth and parents particularly, are encouraged to attend at least one (1) of the Open Houses to learn more about the upcoming 2018 Job Readiness Training Program. PLEASE NOTE:  Participants who completed the 2017 Job Readiness Training and summer employment are also invited to attend the information session(s) to learn about options for the Youth at Work/SYEP Career Pathways Training, Part 2.

In order to provide employment opportunities to as many youth as possible, youth will only be able to work a maximum of 2 years in the Youth at Work/SYEP.

Please post the attached flyer in your place of employment and/or circulate to Prince George's County youth between the ages of 15-19, regarding the upcoming Open Houses.  For subsequent dates, please refer to the attached flyer.
