TOMORROW:   Prince George's County's Department of Public Works and Transportation Begins Pothole Blitz on County Roadways

LARGO, MD- With the latest winter event behind us, Prince George's County's Department of Public Works and Transportation (DPW&T) will focus their efforts on filling potholes caused by the cold weather, salt and snow.  DPW&T will be out in full force to repair potholes starting on Wednesday, April 4, 2018 on the County-maintained primary and major collector roadways.

"Through this concentrated effort, Prince George's County roadways will be safer, more accessible and easier to travel," said DPW&T Director Darrell B. Mobley. "DPW&T will dedicate all of its maintenance personnel and resources for this sustained effort to repair the potholes on County roadways."

Drivers are advised to stay alert and be aware of trucks and crews working to improve the roadways.  Drivers are also reminded to drive safely, obey the posted speed limit and slow down when approaching a work zone.
