Interested in composting?

Apply for the Residential Compost Pilot Program!
In exchange for using the compost bin in your yard to compost food and other organic waste, and participating in monthly surveys, the Town will provide participating households with a free compost bin.

Participants will be selected on a first-come-first-serve basis. The Town will be testing several types of compost bins, and participants will be assigned a model for use. The Riverdale Park Green Team will provide background materials and will be available to help participants. The Green Team will also hold optional group discussions.

Applications will be accepted starting July 12.
