The Town was just informed by M-NCPPC that the dog park will remain closed today (10/5) to complete the underground electrical wiring component of the project.

As additional updates are provided by M-NCPPC, the Town will share them with the community.

Good afternoon,

Today, the Town received the following update from Maryland-National Capital Park and Planning Commission (M-NCPPC) regarding Waggertail Dog Park:

The Large Dog Area was opened this morning (10/3), but we will continue to keep the Small Dog Area closed until we have all the repairs completed.

Tomorrow (10/4) the whole dog park will be closed for the installation of underground electrical wiring (weather permitting).

We are planning to sod some of the damaged areas in the near future. We will have more clarity on the date of these repairs and potential closures later this month.

As additional updates are provided by M-NCPPC, the Town will share them with the community.
