<span style="color:blue">PGCLitterTRAK</span></a>, a mobile application, which assists County residents, community organizations and businesses report their efforts to reduce litter and keep Prince George’s clean, green and beautiful.

The PGCLitterTRAK app is a tool, developed by the Prince George’s County Department of the Environment (DoE), designed to aid users in tracking trash and debris collected by individual citizens or during group-focused clean up events. Data collected and submitted
through PGCLitterTRAK including bags of litter removed, items collected and litter pick-up locations, will be reported to DoE.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="mso-margin-top-alt:auto;mso-margin-bottom-alt:auto"><span style="font-size:12.0pt;font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">“The launch of PGCLitterTRAK is making it easier for Prince George’s County government to reduce litter in our
waterways, streets and neighborhoods. This user-friendly app gives DoE the ability to obtain real-time information and see a catalog of trashed picked up by our County's “trash warriors” who are on the front lines of the battle against litter in Prince George's,”

Built on the Survey123 platform, litter collection data provided through PGCLitterTRAK supports DoE’s efforts to build informative maps detailing the frequency of litter clean-up events and the amount of litter collected. Data will be shared with the Maryland
Department of the Environment (MDE) and the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), and credited to the County’s mandated trash reduction rate of 170,628 pounds per year within the Anacostia River Watershed.
