<b>(October 28, 2016)</b> – Beginning Monday morning, the Maryland Department of Transportation’s State Highway Administration (SHA) will resurface MD 201 (Kenilworth Avenue) from the I-95/I-495 Capital Beltway on/off ramps to Cherrywood Lane in Greenbelt.
Weather and progress permitting, the work should be complete by late fall. The work is part of a $1 million area-wide resurfacing project.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom:10.0pt;line-height:115%"><span style="font-size:14.0pt;line-height:115%;font-family:"Times New Roman",serif"><o:p> </o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom:10.0pt;line-height:115%"><span style="font-size:14.0pt;line-height:115%;font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">SHA will close one lane at 9 a.m. and two lanes between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. Crews will open all traffic lanes
by 3 p.m. each day. Crews will patch all traffic lanes and apply new asphalt and pavement markings.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

lane of traffic at all times during the paving operations. SHA is urging motorists to plan for extra commute time and consider alternate routes.
