[RP TownTalk] NCSA-HMB Brazilian Winter Indoor Soccer at Hyattsville Elementary School

The program described below welcomes all area families.

HMB Soccer with NCSA is running an indoor Brazilian-style soccer 
program at Hyattsville Elementary School.   It will run about 10 weeks 
this winter and starts December 3. Each session will run one hour and 
consist of one continuous game where there will be “hockey style” 
substitutions (ie play does not stop). Substitutions will be made 
largely to give kids breathers and to ensure every player gets a good 
amount of court time.  There are no “teams” and no “coaching”. 

The program’s goal is simply to provide an opportunity for kids to play 
unstructured soccer inside, get lots of touches on the ball and get 
some exercise.  Non-marking sneakers and shin guards are mandatory.  We 
will need help setting up and putting equipment away.  The gym is small 
so parents will need to either stand to watch at the sidelines or sit 
in the hallway.

*U6 Advanced U6 players.  U6*, U7, U8 play 4 v 4 and U11, U12, U13 play 
5 v 5.  Each session is limited to 20 to 22 players to insure that 
every player has plenty of playing time.
