Just noticed on my way home today along Queensbury that there are 3-5 new 
"Space Available" signs up in the towncenter--bigger, bolder, and easier to 
read... almost as if somebody were trying to find tenants for this space. I 
could even make out the Douglas Development phone # while driving.

Meanwhile, route 1 side of the fence at the corner of East-West & Rt. 1 has 
fallen down, revealing the nice, level, seeded area that was once rubble. I 
assume I'm not the only one who has noticed this ; )

Took our 3 yr. old for a nice ride in the wheelbarrow (he loves it) down to 
Dumm's yesterday for a bag of ice (you would not believe the looks we get 
and occasionally comments insinuating we can't afford a stroller, though 
about 1 out of every 5 people smile or think it's cute). On the way home at 
the 3-way-stop-sign-no-one-knows-how-to-navigate by the train tracks, saw 
some pointed graffiti on the trashcan: "No illlegals." and something else 
like "Illegals go home" -- can only assume this was aimed at day laborers or 
something? First I've seen of such remarks.

Just some loosely related observations about what one might have seen in 
Riverdale Park at the beginning of this week,
