Steve and Ziggy are offering up free hot dogs, hamburgers, and a draft beer or soda. See you there!

UMD Festival Details...
Maryland Day Festival is tomorrow Saturday, April 29, 2006. From 10 a.m. until 4 p.m., you can join in a variety of family-friendly, hands-on activities; catch terrific performances or learn from world-renowned scholars.

In celebration of University's 150th Anniversary, they are serving up the world's largest strawberry shortcake measuring 16 feet by 24 feet and serving up to 50,000 slices.

Tons of other fun and educational events too. Live performances every hour, food, sports, science & tech displays, biz & society, farm animals, insects, arts and more.

The UMD Festival is one of the best events of the year bar none. I highly recommend it for adults and children. And the cost is nada, zip, zero, free. (OK they charge for some of the food).

Lots more info www.marylandday.umd.edu
There are event schedules, day planner, kids events, video, etc. available on the web site.

Saturday is expected to be beautiful weather. Enjoy.
