[RP TownTalk] progress on 4-way gate at rail crossing

I've lived in this town for 22 years and my house is RIGHT at the southbound signal for the trains to "whistle" before the crossing. Now, there HAS to be an decibel level ordinance. Anyone have any information on the limits and if they test?

I SURELY do not want more tracks, consequently, more trains without some kind of limits.
