[RP TownTalk] a nice animal shelter for those lost dogs

I hope those lost dogs can be reunited with their owners. But if that doesn't happen and the next stop is an animal shelter, please take them to the wonderful, award-winning Washington Animal Rescue League (www.warl.org) on Oglethorpe St. in Takoma/DC. They're the exact opposite of an "animal jail." The holding pens have waterfalls, piped-in music, soft natural lighting...the first thing you notice is how unstressed and content the animals are, and the second thing you notice is how caring and gentle the staff is. They've got a great medical clinic on the premises, too. Please take the dogs to WARL!!
