[RP TownTalk] Public Toilets

The city of Mount Rainier has porta-potties in the area for people to use for the same reason. My opinion on that will remain undisclosed…but still, might want to talk to Malinda Miles or Bryan Knedler over there and maybe they could tell you if they help.

This thread started when Audrey complained about someone stopping his car in the middle of the Ravenswood Rd, getting out and urinating.  How on earth are porta potties going to help.  This person clearly could care less about our town and everyone in it and we are going to provide porta potties.  Where are we going to set them up?  In the middle of the street.

What ever happened to enforcing our laws and putting the wood to the people who deserve it.  I can't believe what I'm reading.

I think nothing is worse than having to

pee and be in a town with no public 

toilets.  Most places want you to be

a regular customer or at least buy

something before they will let you use

their restrooms.

 

I think it is the town's problem for not

providing public facilities.  The trouble

with the plastic outhouse, it is usually

in a out of the way place which means

keeping it locked when sports fields

are not being used.

 

I think we need to provide in our  town

budget for plastic facilites to be placed

out in the open & keeping them 

maintained  spotless in multiple areas

for homeless people & immigrants &

us.  We should pay a regular maintenance

fee for this.

 

I say out in the open for all to see so

there is no one living in it or doing other

'things in it except what it is made for....

that way it should never be locked.

 

But these plastic toilets are horrible

to look at - so maybe we need to 

have a contest to design a cover for the

plastic toilet - something that is nice for

all to see and not be ashamed to use...

& see what kind would we personally

not mind going into while the world

walked by us   I think there should be

multiple ones together where we place

them - and maybe even where possible

have some type of spigot water to wash

hands.
