[RP TownTalk] What I like about Riverdale Park

Bruce,

While I agree with you that the laws need to be enforced, it's apparently a
hard thing to do (for reasons the general public may or may not know).
Rather that sit and shout enforce the laws and that's the only answer. It
appears to me that other residents are attempting to find another solution
that can work WITH enforcing the laws. Frankly, the idea of having enough
officers to patrol every street at all times to catch every person that
relieves him/herself in every nook and cranny of the town is unfathomable.

Yes, laws need to be enforced, but the cops need our help. If I had to
choose between a police officer responding to my call of public urination
and someone else's call regarding assault or such. I'd certainly rather
have them go to the assault. In a perfect world there would be enough
officers to respond to every call, but it ain't gonna happen.

All

What a great way to solve a serious problem (trash so bad my dog routinely
cuts his paws on the broken beer bottles along Queensbury, blatant public
urination, public defication, dead chickens in the road, people
living/bathing/washing clothes in the creek near the east end of Oglethorpe
in plain sight, trashed parks every Monday, etc). We will talk about what's
great about our Town and do nothing. Drown out the bad words from that mean
old man Bruce and sit in front of our TV sets and ignore him. He is so
negative. We only want to hear nice things Mommy.

I'm sorry folks, but I guess I've set my expectations a little too high. I
like a clean safe environment for the kids to grow up and play in. It's
this thing I have.

Are there any adults out there who consider this to be a problem which needs
to be addressed? Is there anyone out there who cares? If not, I'll stop
wasting my time.

Bruce
