I don't agree. It can and does happen just north of E/W highway in Calvert Hills and University Park. They don't have any of the problems outlined below because their residents have a totally different attitude. They contact their elected officials and let them know these problems need to be addressed ASAP. Then they let their elected officials take whatever actions are necessary and continue to remind and support them as needed. They don't unilaterally make a determination as to what needs to be done and say "it ain't going to happen" because they don't have the expertise to solve the problem.
Once the word gets out that the police are putting the wood to any perp doing their "dirty do", you'd be surprised at how fast it stops. All it takes is a couple of arrests.
When are you folks going to start calling/emailing the mayor and your council person on these issues. What is everyone waiting for? Are you afraid the big bad wolf is going to bite you?
