Bruce, I am also disturbed when I see trash around our town. What do you
think the solution is?

Roland

This issue has nothing to do with Sarah or Allen. If I inferred that it
did, I apologize to the both of them.

I've been desperately trying to raise the "trash" awareness of our readers.
I spend a lot of time walking the byways of our Town with the dog(s) so I'm
exposed to this everyday. I see the kids catching minnows in the creek down
stream from the human feces refuse strewn all over the banks, 4 year olds
running around soiled diapers near the creek, broken beer bottles where
youngsters play, kids running through half eaten food, plastic bottles,
waste paper in our Parks. It's absolutely unbelievable. How would any of
our readers feel if they were to see this sort of thing day after day
especially during the warmer months. Needless to say it wears on you. What
is it going to take for us to take a serious look at this problem and do
something about it. Every email I have seen up until this one talks about
porta potties, they're homeless, the police won't get there in time, etc. I
consider all of these nothing more than excuses for the inexcusable. What
on earth is wrong wi
th enforcing the law, punishing those who deface the very place in which we
live, and protecting our children.

Bruce

great about our Town and do nothing. Drown out the bad words from that mean
old man Bruce and sit in front of our TV sets and ignore him. He is so
negative. We only want to hear nice things Mommy.

I like a clean safe environment for the kids to grow up and play in. It's
this thing I have.
