May I add my 2 cents as to what I like about RP?  We
have SO much diversity in such a comparatively small
space; I can take a walk around town and talk to
people from just about everywhere.  And our diversity
is not only in our people, but even in such things as
our architecture!  Yes, there's things that need
fixing, I doubt that there's any "perfect town" out
there, but we have it pretty good.  And, with all of
the development in the area, both in and outside the
town, I hope we can KEEP our uniqueness and not turn
into just another cookie-cutter suburb.  What else do
I like, oh yeah, I LOVE the trains; as my family was
in railroading for many, many years, the trains were
one big reason I moved here.  Wish we could somehow
capitalize more on the trains, a train-theme
restaurant or store would be great (yeah, I know,
takes money...)  I love the fact that our town
officials are accessible, that's not the case in a lot
of other towns.  I could go on, but I think you get my
point - there's a lot here to like!
