[RP TownTalk] on-demand hot water systems

I am replacing my hot water tank and am interested in the new on-demand (tankless) hot water systems because they seem more eco-friendly.  Does anyone on the list have experience or recommendations about this?  You can feel free to talk on the list or back channel, as you prefer (kgalleher at yahoo.com)
