METRO Performs AUDITIONS

The Prince George's Arts Council, in conjunction with the Washington Area
Metropolitan Transit Authority (WMATA) presents auditions for METRO Performs on
Saturday, June 16, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the Community Room at the Mt. Rainier
Artists Lofts, 3311 Rhode Island Avenue, Mt. Rainier, MD.

Performers from all genres of music from classical to cutting-edge world music as
well as theatre, mime, magic, dance and the literary arts are invited to come before a
panel that includes representatives from Metro, local arts organizations as well as
performers from a variety of disciplines. Those chosen will be hired to perform at
selected Metro stations in Prince George's County.

Please Note: Certain limitations apply. Performers are limited
to a noise level of 80 decibels or less. No Trumpets. Amplifiers
MUST be battery operated. All performers must be 18 years of age
or older and must reside or work in Prince George's County.
Student groups will be considered only if a teacher is scheduled to
be present at performances.
