Roland thanks for the update.

Does this mean that there is a possibility that the central part of RP 
has a chance of increasing it's tax base for the first time sense I've 
been in town (1995)!

On careful reading I see there are still several ways for the prime 
corner of E/W Hwy and Rt 1 can remain fallow.

Yes, historic preservation and prospective are nice.  I am sitting in an 
old mining town (1880's) that has found a way to combine old Victorian 
charm, t-shirts, jeeps and a strong historical society to take a mining 
town that could have died when the last mine close in the 1960's an 
turned it into a community that is actually showing some growth.  
Everyone hates the McManors, but this county has some of the best gravel 
roads and jeep trails in the state.  The nice thing is the people that 
built the $1,000,000 "cabins" only come for two weeks, stick to them 
selves and pay their taxes.

I know, I know 'the good is the enemy of the best' but some times 
holding out for the perfect is the friend of never.

I must go referee the hummingbird fights.
