I've heard rumors that Giant Food in Riverdale Plaza
is closing in May; has anyone else heard this?  In a
way it's sad, as I remember way back when that store
opened. However, truth be told, I think the Giant has
really gone downhill over the past few years, esp. the
quality of produce, etc. If it IS closing, hopefully
some other market will take its place - it would be
nice to have a decent grocery store close by.

By the way, does anyone besides myself remember when
the Riverdale Plaza property was a farm, and they sold
pony rides at the place where the La Poblanito store
is now?
