well for art supplies I like the Art Shop
on Main St in Laurel. They have a huge
supply of artists things.
 
G St Fabrics is my fav. on fabrics as 
they have a section on reproduced historical
fabrics.  They are more expensive than JoAnn
but there is no comparison to quality.
