> Does anyone know how many registered voters are in each ward?

ward 1: 705
ward 2: 582
ward 3: 465
ward 4: 379
ward 5: 150
ward 6: 168

HOWEVER, the records (which are kept by the county) include lots of people
who no longer live here. Maybe as many as 40% of records are bogus.

An interesting point of comparison is the 2005 (Archer for Mayor) election,
in which turnout was much higher overall, presumably because the mayor's
race was contested. 2005 turnout:

ward 1: 297
ward 2: 237
ward 3: 193
ward 4: 53
ward 5: 12
ward 6: 17

My lawn mower is broken, and I need someone to cut my grass. I live near
Crescent Cities. Any recommendations? What's the going rate for this service
these days?

Seeking resident M Jefferson on Oglethorpe Street

Is M. Jefferson on TownTalk, or have friends or family on TownTalk?
Mailperson mistakenly delivered a legal size envelope/package addressed to M
Jefferson to our house on Oliver Street. We won't be available to deliver
it until tomorrow (or maybe in the wee hours tonight), or we can hold it for
pick up.
Write to elsiegoh at starpower.net

Thank you
Sky & Iris

Hello everyone,

I picked up all my election signs today, but could not find 5 of them.
I may have missed one or perhaps it was set aside etc.

If you see one hiding out somewhere please let me know.

Thanks

Actually, mis-delivered first case mail should be returned to the Postal
Service. It's a legal thing.

Hi Folks,
I'm looking for very responsible (no ditched flyers) enthusiastic flyer
distributors to go to various offices in the area. Does anyone know someone
who'd be good at this? If the person is available over the next week and a
half, it would be even better. The market is paying $7/hour for the job. Any
questions, please contact me through rpkfarmmkt at gmail.com or by phone
@301-209-8529.

thanks,

Jim Coleman

Is anyone on this list involved with the Hyattsville Horticulture Society?

They had a mulch sale, with pickup scheduled a few weeks ago. But the mulch
has yet to be delivered (I was informed by email of the delay), my check has
been cashed, and the one contact I had with the organization is no longer
responding to my emails.

Our car was broken into last night. They used a crowbar to try to pry open
the door, then gave up and smashed the window. They rifled through the
contents, and left stuff on the sidewalk and street next to my car. There
was nothing of value in there, as I don't keep anything in my car.

Oddly, I never heard the alarm go off (the car is right outside my bedroom
window.)

When I last spoke with the police around 10 am, they said 8 cars had been
hit last night, sometime between 1am and 5am.

So keep your ears and eyes open, and if you see ANYTHING suspicious, call
the police right away at 301-927-4343.

-Sarah
