In case you haven't heard, there is an alternative currency being used 
by members of this community called 'Anacostia Hours.' Alternative 
currencies have been created in many places around the country in 
efforts to strengthen local economies.

There will be a fundraiser for Anacostia Hours at Franklins Restaurant, 
Brewery and General Store on Monday, October 22, 2007 all day. When you 
pay for a meal or purchase, bring your receipt to the hostess and say 
you want to support Anacostia Hours. The restaurant will donate 20% of 
your bill.
