[RP TownTalk] electronic documents to be published on TownAnnounce

To those who are interested in electronic documents:

Attached here is a resolution passed by the Town Council last night.
It says that effective yesterday, town staff will publish certain
documents concerning the workings of town government on the
TownAnnounce email list.  For starters, this would cover the
resolutions passed at last night's meeting.  Later this month, you
should also see proposed agendas for upcoming meetings and minutes of
meetings.

Note that the list on which you are reading this message is TownTalk.

The policy side of my electronic documents project is almost complete.
 Next month I plan to introduce resolutions making certain reference
materials available to residents and to the council.  I also plan to
follow up on the creation of an internet-accessible archive for public
documents generated by the town.
