[RP TownTalk] Electronic Documents resolutions

TownTalkers,

Following up on my earlier post, attached are drafts of two
resolutions regarding electronic documents that I plan to introduce at
the council meeting tomorrow.

There could be changes between these and the final versions that I
introduce, as I may incorporate some incoming suggestions.

The executive summary is:

   1 If a document is produced for a group of citizens at least equal
to the size of one ward, it should be made available in electronic
form and archived in electronic form.

   2 Likewise for any documents produced for members of the council.

   3 PDF/A is the town's preferred archival format

   4 None of this applies unless the document is created directly by the town.

The second resolution seeks to make a few key documents available in
electronic format retroactively to 2000.
