[RP TownTalk] Comcast Internet

Marc
I also have Verizon DSL, although I actually pay someone else.
Considering my daughter's experience with FIOS in VA I'm not standing in
line. Anyway I don't believe its faster.

Sense I don't have TV cable I never considered Comcast. The known issue
of limited through put, was always a negative for me. Early on it was
reported that cable slowed down when everyone gets home and logs on to
check email etc. This is of course why Comcast is blocking "heavy"
users. If one user uses lots of the cables capacity, all other users
suffer. This is not true for DSL and shouldn't be true for FIOS.

Lou
PS I hope you don't mind me moving the discourse back to TownTalk so
all can read your response.
