[RP TownTalk] Young Entrepreneurs Club -- success!

Riverdale Park's Young Entrepreneurs Club had a very successful sale
at the Farmer's Market last Thursday.

Hope Mooney, Tula Honkala, and Lucy Archer sold potholders and baked
goods.  They all worked very hard, and they all learned about running
a business.

They had $211.31 in gross sales.  After subtracting costs, they earned
profits totaling $161.31.  The Young Entrepreneurs are donating half
of their profits to the Make-A-Wish Foundation (http://wish.org).
Together with a few direct donations from customers the amount
contributed to charity will be $84.16!

On behalf of the Young Entrepreneurs, I'd like to thank their
customers and their sponsors: Tina van Pelt, Regina Kreger, and the
Farmer's Market itself.  The parents all pitched in, too.
