The first store in the Arts District Hy (the EYA development) has
just opened!

It's called "The Book Nook Bookstore" and its a tiny, cute bookstore.
The owner (Angelisa Hawes and her husband) live above.

They have a small diverse book selection for both adults and children
that will grow with time. They are planning to also have book clubs,
author talks etc. Their card says: "Books, educational toys, fax,
photocopier, programs".

So if you can, swing by and show them some love. They have a small
selection of greeting and birthday cards and I bought one (primarily to
be supportive, but the card is quite nice and unique).

The book store is at 5606 Baltimore Ave (Route One) - one block south
of the EYA Sales office and on the same side of the street (the west side).

It's a short walk for many of us and there is some limited parking behind
the store (turn in by the sales office and then take the first left, go
to the
end of the block and park, and walk around to the front of the store).
