PLEASE JOIN TRIPS FOR KIDS METRO DC FOR A VERY SPECIAL ACOUSTIC NIGHT WITH NO SECOND TROY ON JUNE 21 --  ALL PROCEEDS TO BENEFIT CHARITY.  
 
Trips for Kids Metro DC is a local 501(c)(3) that provides mentoring to under-served DC youth by taking them on fun and adventurous mountain bike rides to teach them about healthful living and the environment.  The rides also provide many of the kids with a much-needed self-esteem boost.  TFK works with kids in the Port Towns of Maryland, in the Anacostia neighborhoods of Southeast DC, and in Northern Virginia.  The charity needs your support now to purchase bicycles, safety equipment, and healthy snacks for the kids in order to make their 2008 ride season a success.
  
Come to Mackey's Pub, 1823 L St., NW, on Saturday, June 21.  Doors to the private backroom will open at 7:30, and music will start around 9:00.  Enjoy special prices on Sam Adams products:  Sam Adams Lager and Seasonal drafts and Sam Adams Light bottles for $3.75.  There will be a raffle and spectacular bike-themed door prizes, with all proceeds going straight to TFK Metro DC.
Suggested donation at the door is $10.
