[RP TownTalk] Volunteer at Greenbelt Nat. Park - 9/27

Jonah is right. I forgot that a friend of mine took my dogs for a walk up in there about a month ago and got covered in tick nymphs. A great way to combat against them though is Premanone - for sale in the hunting section of Walmart. Ticks and chiggers die on contact or stay the heck away when you spary it on your clothes.  They (the ticks and chiggers) won't keep us from enjoying Nature! No sir!

Make sure you bring insect repellent if you volunteer. They have a tick and chigger advisory there and I've verified this with some of the insects personally. But don't let that deter you; it's really a beautiful park.

Volunteers are needed to help clean up the Still Creek watershed, through trail maintenance and invasive plant removal.  All of the activities will be at the Sweetgum Picnic Area.
