Friends,

Please join the fire department, police department, and Town staff in
helping to provide toys and food to families in need in Riverdale Park this
holiday season.  The response for assistance has been great and some have
even been turned away because the Town is working hard to ensure that the
resources are given to those in the greatest need. As of today, over 56
children/families have been identified and the town is rapidly trying to use
every available resource to fill the requests--Toys for Tots and County food
baskets.  Many of the staff have also personally adopted a family.

Please help out a family this holiday season. Below are some of the various
ways you can help.

*Adopt a child or an entire family.
*Drop off canned food or toys for boys and girls 0-10 years at Town Hall by
December 19th
*Drop off gift cards to a food store or Target/Walmart at Town Hall by
December 19th

Your assistance is greatly aappreciated.  Please call 240-898-2500 to adopt
a child or family.
