[RP TownTalk] Why such poor snow removal?

I live at the intersection of two streets that are only two blocks long, and
both are in good shape.  In fact, I think all of the streets in the little
triangle of town between the railroad tracks, Route 1, and Queensbury are
very passable.  
 
Melissa and others, I have to wonder if your streets haven't been plowed, if
it wouldn't be a good idea to let the town know?  Sure, it's frustrating if
they haven't come by in due course, but sometimes we have to report things.

The town of Riverdale Park amounts to more than one or two streets. It's
great that some received this service, but there does not seem to be a
consistant plan for the entire town.
 We all pay the same taxes and deserve the same services no matter what part
of Riverdale Park we live in be that Mason Hill, Old Town or the apartments
etc... .
 
As good citizens, in these emergancy situations we should be concerned for
the entire town, not just the satisfaction of our own selves.

Whatever Melissa, I won't debate your opinion, as you are as clearly
entitled to it, as I am to disagree.
I managed to go to work at 6AM this morning with no problems. Thanks to my
own labor, my neighbor George, and Riverdale for plowing the streets. So
again, GREAT Job guys! But keep it coming!

Compairing apples to orages - We live in Riverdale Park. We pay taxes to
Riverdale Park, not Crofton and  Crofton is a much larger area geographicaly
than Riverdale Park and also layed out diffrently.

Well, being someone that was able to get out last evening, I can tell you
that Riverdale is in better shape than a lot of other townships. Crofton,
for one, is a wreck. 
So kudos, to those who are working so hard to assist those that would throw
stones at you for not doing it fast enough.
