Bruce--
I hear you. It's distressing on lots of levels to think that Dan may
not be able to keep the business going.

Unfortunately, he told me he's no longer going to be carrying (or
special ordering) cat and dog food, because of the low markups.  This
is exactly the business that we were able to give Dan on a routine
basis, and it grieves me to have to go somewhere else to buy vittles
for the little evil ones.

FOR TownTalkies who are cat owners who likewise have no place to go to
buy their catfood now:  Maybe, if we could decide on one or two types
of food, we could give Dan a large enough order that it would be worth
his while? I'd be happy to discuss this on or off list.
