Thanks SO much for sharing that interesting tidbit about Calvert supporting Morse and Riversdale being the site of the original telegraph message. I found it a delightful coincidence that I am a descendant of the Morse line (my Grandmother's maiden name was Morse and the family story is that Samuel was a Great -great-x?? Uncle)  and I settled right here in Riverdale, oblivious to the family connection!  It made my day to contemplate this turn of events.
