Thought some folks might be interested in this event.

Is the Calvert House Inn the only live performance venue in Riverdale Park right now?

Tony Deyo

Tony Deyo is a rarity in the comedy world - clean AND funny.

A rising young talent, Deyo is known for his sharp, quick material and near perfect comedic timing almost certainly gained from his years as a professional symphony musician. In 2007, he had the incredible opportunity to perform at HBO's U.S. Comedy Arts Festival in Aspen, CO. In 2005, Tony was published alongside Bill Cosby, Ray Romano, Jon Stewart, and many others in Judy Brown's comedy collection, Squeaky Clean Comedy. Also that year, Tony helped produce the stand-up comedy documentary, Metaphysical Graffiti, with Rob Cantrell. It debuted at the Cannes Film Festival in May, 2005. Tony finished off the year with his television debut on The Night Shift on NBC.

Tony grew up in a small town in rural Virginia. After receiving a bachelor's degree in education and master's degree in music, he spent several years performing with various symphonies. He was also middle school teacher for three years before realizing that he had a strong distaste for children.

Erin Jackson
"Washington has been the home of a number of very good comics and a few great ones (Wanda Sykes, Dave Chappelle, Lewis Black, Martin Lawrence). Erin Jackson could be next in line." -- The Washington Post
Armed with a megawatt smile and a very unique perspective, Erin Jackson is poised to take the world of comedy by storm! In fact, she'd probably be well on her way to superstardom by now if her friends and family hadn't spent so many years tearing down her dreams and stealing her joy.
Since making a name for herself in the comedy clubs of Washington, DC and Baltimore, MD, Erin has garnered national attention with performances on The Ellen DeGeneres Show and Comedy Central's Live at Gotham. She was a semifinalist on NBC's Last Comic Standing 6, a finalist in NBC's Stand-Up for Diversity Initiative, and has made several appearances on The Bob and Tom Show.
