I'd like to "second" that I also appreciate the efforts of our police department.  It's my understanding that some of them will be at the Riverdale Park Day this weekend; take a moment to stop by and thank 'em personally!

With all this mention of calling the police, thought I'd take a moment to say how much I appreciate our local officers.  I'm so thankful they are close by.

Also, I think Vern sent an email asking for volunteers to help beautify town hall?  I'm recovering from surgery and things have been in a fog.  I'd like to know more about that - maybe whoever did write that email can contact me off list?
