Just a heads up!  House Tour tickets are now available at Franklins -- 
buy your tickets in advance and save $s.
 
HPA's Historic Hyattsville House Tour
Sunday, May 16, 2010
1-5pm starting at the
City of Hyattsville's Municipal Building,
4310 Gallatin Street, Hyattsville, MD  20781. 
 
The self-guided tour will include 9 sites and feature a large, secluded 
Queen Anne house, charming bungalows with restored interiors, and an 
1897 home designated as a Prince George's County Historic Site.  
Tour-goers will receive an informative booklet with a map showing 
the sites.  Houses are within easy walking distance and may be seen in 
any order at visitors' own pace.  The City of Hyattsville provides a van 
that continuously circles the route for anyone with difficulty walking 
the tour.
 
Advance sale tickets are now available for $10 per adult at
Franklins Restaurant, Brewery and General Store
5121 Baltimore Avenue (Route 1), Hyattsville, MD  20781.
 
Tickets will be $12 per adult the day of the tour. $2 for under 18
free if carried infant

Here is how you can and help at the same time:

If you have flowers to share from your garden and/or enjoy creating 
flower arrangements please come to the City of Hyattsville's Municipal 
Building on Saturday, May 15th @ 9:00 am.  You can drop off cut flowers 
or also stay and help make the lovely arrangements that will be on 
display throughout the featured homes on the next day ... please bring 
garden clippers or scissors and gloves to work with if you have them.

 
If you would like to help with streets cape cleanup efforts (i.e. 
"Litter Patrol") please contact Krista Atteberry,
