Safe Trails Bike Ride – June 26 10am Magruder Park

The City of Hyattsville's Bicycle and Pedestrian Safety Committee is
hosting a community bike ride.

Ride the trails with Park Rangers Ben Sweet and Paolo Abellera!

When: Saturday June 26th at 10am.
Where: Magruder Park
Why: A positive response to the recent crimes on our bike paths
Who: For everyone! Families Welcome
What: Meet Park Rangers, Ask questions, ride for your health and safety

The ride starts at Magruder Park in the City of Hyattsville and will
go out and back to Lake Artemisia 100% on trails. Participants are
welcome to do all or part of the ride. If you have never been to Lake
Artemisia you are in for a wonderful surprise. This beautiful natural
resource is a 30 minute bike ride on the mostly flat North East Branch
Trail.

Recently there have been a few crimes on our trails. This ride is a
show of force to criminals that the community cares and will not
tolerate their behavior.
