I wanted to check to see if the Town is doing anything about the burnout at 4602 Queensbury Rd.  It's been sitting there for over two years, if memory servers me correctly, and nothing has been done.  I called the mortgage company and they would not give me any information.  I don't think there is any incentive for them to do anything because they received the insurance money after the house burned.

The same is true for the house directly behind 4602 Queensbury on East West highway.  This house is in much worse condition and has been derelict for many years.  

These properties are a blight on our community, a haven for vermin, and a hazard for curious children.  When I was a kid I used to love to explore the derelict property next to my elementry school.  I'm sure children in our Town have similar interests.  If a child injures themself while exploring one of these properties, no one would know.  They would just disappear.  The time is now to take action before someone gets hurt or worse.

Could you move to have the Town condemn these places and have them auctioned off or raised assuming the process has not already been started.
