I don't get it...
Some think it's a religious practice,
Some think it's a joke and it's funny.
Practicing my religion in a public park would be against the law. Cruelty
to animals is against the law.
Littering is against the law. Creating a public health hazard is against
the law.
I don't really care why whoever does it does it. I just want it stopped.
Now, who can make that happen?
If we just laugh at our laws or rationalize them away, why have them?
Our residents and government need to come up with a solution to make sure
our laws are obeyed.
Audrey

The dead chickens and roosters in bags are put ther as part of a religous
ritual. http://www.sptimes.com/2006/04/09/State/Suburb_has_1M_homes__.shtml
http://laist.com/2009/01/13/police_suspect_santeria_in_chicken.php
It happens every day all over the place.

You want to know why people are throwing dead chickens on the railroad
tracks. See below.

>LOL!!! Maybe we could capitalize on this and have a festival of some
sort? I mean, in Fruita, Colorado, they DO have a Mike the Headless Chicken
Day. In Hinkley, Ohio, they have celebrations to welcome the buzzards that
come back to town each year (the buzzards are alive, though). Perhaps
incorporate a chicken into the town seal? Ok, I'll go away now, I'm getting
silly....
