[RP TownTalk] New resturant reply and a question

Thanks so much for the information; I'd seen they had opened and was wondering if they were any good!  (Like I REALLY need to find another place to eat! (smile).  

I was wondering - has anyone eaten at the Samlina restaurant that's been at Riverdale Plaza for a couple of years?  I think it's Salvadorean/Mexican?  

I agree, I like to patronize local businesses; not that I don't like the chain-type restaurants, but I think the individually owned places give a neighborhood part of its "personality".

I was happy to discover today that a wonderful new sub shop and deli has opened up where the old Subway sub shop was on Route One.  Its called Chips and Deli.  They have wonderfully fresh baked bread (better than Subway), huge amounts of meat and wonderful condiments.  They even offer a spring greens mix in place of ordinary lettuce (which they also have) for your sandwich.  They make their own chips and fries (delicious) and their prices are very reasonable.  Its good to have a nice sandwich shop within walking distance again.
