Friends and neighbors,

Please see the information below, but the main thing is we had to change the
date for our community blood donation.

WE PLAN TO LEAVE TOWN HALL AT 1:00 PM so as to arrive at the Washington
Hospital Center, at 1:30.

Also, we are trying to provide transportation, so if you plan to go please
RSVP so we have a better idea of how many people
we are going to transport.

The Town of Riverdale Park is coordinating a blood donation drive on
Thursday, April 21st at the Washington Hospital Center in honor of Riverdale
Volunteer Fire Chief Chuck Ryan and the other DC firefighters who were
recently injured.  Volunteers must be 17 years or older and must bring a
photo ID.  Those who are sick and/or who have recently had a medical or
dental procedure will not be allowed to donate blood.  The blood center will
validate parking.  Participants will receive 2 free AMC movie theater
passes.  Please call Town Hall at 301-927-6381 if you have questions.
