Hi Patrick,

I think your best bet is to get estimates from a few people.

We like Charles Greene. He painted our house 3 years ago, so it's been
a while, but we had a ridiculous number of colors, and his prices were
*very* reasonable. When I told a real estate agent what we were
paying, her jaw dropped, and she told me that we'd gotten a very good
deal.

He is reliable, and did a beautiful job, both with preparation and
painting of our house. And when I wasn't happy with his work, he
cheerfully re-did it.
