[RP TownTalk] Broken window - when will it be fixed?

Supposedly the window in the old bookshop which was broken during Hurricane Irene was to be fixed "Weather permitting," the weekend of September 26.  Well - here we are, October 18, there's been several days where weather HAS been "permitting," and the window still isn't fixed, and the Goodnight Irene sign is getting more and more raggedy-looking.  Does anyone know what the owners' excuse, er, reason for not fixing this window would be?
